Can the hole in the center of the tank (V7502) be used for mounting the unit?

We do not recommend using the hole in the center of the V7502 VistaCool system for mounting purposes.

The VistaCool system should be set on a hard, level surface and installed so that the top of the water tank is above the coolant overflow fitting on the drain adapter assembly, and below the autoclave outlet. If elevating the system to achieve the proper height is necessary, the system is best supported from underneath—ideally with the available adjustable tank stand accessories (S7545 for the single-unit V7501, or S7547 for the double-unit V7502).

Additionally, it's sometimes beneficial to stabilize the system laterally with a zip-tie (or similar method) to keep the tank from tipping over if bumped inadvertently.
